WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT
OUR RECESSED LIGHT COVERS, INSULLITE®

"We were re-insulating the attic of a 1970's era house.  There were 27 can lights rated non-contact to insulation. After looking around, I only got suggestions such as plastic buckets or replacing the can lights... each posing its own set of problems.  After some internet searching, I found the Insullite boxes.  Perfect!  The only issue we had was 6 can lights had too little headroom from the roof so we cut the boxes to act as baffles.  In a couple cases, the wiring prevented the boxes from setting completely down, but that's an appearance issue, not function.  The 14" boxes were a good fit for 16" oc joists - so much so that we did not have to tape or staple them in place.  All in all, Insullite® made an apparently ugly job pretty quick and easy. Thanks, again for your help - and of course, the product.
Regards, Pete Schuller"

RADIANT SHIELD®

With Summer just around the corner, the weather will continue to get warmer as these next few months sneak up on us. Are you looking for a way to keep your home or building cooler this year? Radiant Shield® may be the solution that you have been looking for. The Radiant Shield® is a cross-woven polyethylene material containing aluminum. We now have this product available in a double-sided version, as well as perforated or non-perforated versions.  The non-perforated version has a very low permeance rating and qualifies as a vapor barrier.  Thanks to the reflectivity of this product, it can reflect up to 94% of radiant energy! Radiant Shield® can be used in attics, post-frame construction, roofs and many more applications.

Show Overview:

  COLLABORATE & LISTEN...

vanilla IBS, babyAs you may know, ISI participates in many trade shows throughout the year. Our first three in 2012 are some of our biggest shows and have kept us very busy. We started things off with the AHR Expo in Chicago, Illinois in January, primarily showing off our under-slab insulation, Insul-Tarp®. Immediately following, we headed to Las Vegas for the World of Concrete (WOC) show, where we displayed many products,
international building showwith a focus on our under-slab vapor barrier line, Viper®. There was an increase in attendance from last year's show and we hope for an even better turn out next year! Then we headed to the International Builders' Show in sunny Orlando, Florida. We ran into Vanilla Ice at the IBS show, who has his own TV show on the DIY Network called "The Vanilla Ice Project".
